A Great Commercial: What Did You Want to Be?

This commercial is a few years old. Not surprisingly, it is still relevant today.

Though the implication is that you should hop on monster.com and browse around, it takes much more introspection to avoid landing in another bad job.

This reminds me of what I heard another teacher saying when we were discussing the problematic restrictions our school places on the teachers: “I wonder what kind of teacher I could have been if I’d had enough guts to go to another school.”

Sometimes comfort is our greatest hurdle.
